Marlena Ortiz is a 27 year old breast cancer survivor. Because of her youth and no family history of breast cancer her diagnosis was delayed. Marlena forged ahead, beat cancer, and started a special effort and campaign to spread awareness and help other young women. The Marlena Project is a non-profit campaign to help encourage other young women to feel beautiful and to live life while fighting cancer.
